Pathology Tests

Our pathology department covers all general pathology tests including specialized tests that require advanced expertise and technologies:

  • Double Marker helps to screen for potential chromosomal issues in a developing baby.
  • NIPT is a simple blood test to check for genetic conditions during pregnancy.
  • T.B. Gold Test detects hidden tuberculosis infections with a blood sample.
  • In Karyotyping we Look at chromosomes to find genetic problems. It is a highly useful test in the diagnosis and management of fertility issues
  • PAP Test also called as Pap smear is used to screen for cervical cancer in women.
  • In FNAC Uses a fine needle to sample lumps and check for disease. This technique is commonly used for examination of the breast, kidney, liver, lungs, prostate, pancreas, salivary glands, retroperitoneum, and lymph nodes.
  • Biopsy: A biopsy is a procedure Takes a small tissue sample to diagnose conditions like cancer.

Radiology Tests

We offer a full range of general radiology, the field of medicine that uses imaging techniques (such as X-rays, CT scan) to diagnose and treat disease.

Apart from the normal X-Ray imaging, Jeevah offers few special X-Ray imaging and hence its call a one stop solution!

    • Barium Studies (X-Ray): Uses barium to get clear X-ray images of the digestive tract. such as tumors, ulcers and other inflammatory conditions, polyps, hernias, and strictures.
    •  Intravenous Pyelogram (IPV/IPU): X-rays with contrast dye to view the urinary system.
    •  MCU/RGU/HSG (X-Ray): Special X-ray exams to check the bladder, urethra, and female reproductive organs by injecting a dye via the urethra to identify urethral narrowings and bladder shape abnormalities.
    • Sinogram/Fistulogram (X-Ray): X-ray procedures to evaluate sinus tracts or fistulas. Both examinations are used to assess and diagnose the size and shape of fistulas and sinuses and any related abscess and/or infection.

o   CT Enterography: A detailed scan to examine the intestines, useful for conditions like Crohn’s disease. This test is typically done to find:

      •  Inflammation
      • Tumors
      • Bowel obstructions or abscesses
      • The source of bleeding
      • Location and severity of Crohn’s disease

o   CT Cisternography: is a minimally-invasive imaging technique used to visualize the intracranial CSF cisterns using iodinated contrast medium injected into the subarachnoid space.
This test is typically done to:

      • detect and localize active CSF leaks through the skull base (CSF rhinorrhoea or CSF otorrhoea).
      • evaluate intracranial arachnoid cysts for communication with surrounding subarachnoid space
      • plan neurosurgery or radiotherapy, especially when MRI is not possible 


o   CT Scan Guided FNAC: Uses CT imaging to guide a biopsy needle precisely. It is a minimally invasive diagnostic procedure used to obtain tissue samples from an internal organ or lesion.

Neurology Tests

Our neurology department provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic tests, to check for disorders of your nervous system including specialized tests such as:

  • NCV/ EMG: Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) measures how fast electrical signals move through nerves Electromyography (EMG) while checks the health of muscles and the nerve cells that control them.
  • Electroencephalography (EEG): Records brain electrical activity, useful for diagnosing epilepsy and other conditions.

Ultrasound Tests

Our ultrasound or sonography services shows structures inside your body using high-intensity sound waves, Although most people associate ultrasound with pregnancy, we at Jeevah include perform specialized procedures too:

  • Ultrasound of Scrotum: Imaging to determine whether a mass in the scrotum felt by the patient or doctor is cystic or solid and its location.
  • Pregnancy Scan: Monitors the development and health of the fetus.
  • Ultrasound Color Doppler (Arterial and Venous): Examines blood flow in arteries and veins. It differs from a regular ultrasound, which uses sound waves to produce images but cannot show blood flow.
  • Ultrasound Guided FNAC: Uses ultrasound to guide a biopsy needle for accurate tissue sampling. Mostly used in the diagnosis of unclear tumors, It allows definite diagnosis and avoids unnecessary diagnostic surgery.

Cardiology Tests

Our cardiology department operates with the diagnosis and treatments of Heart related issues like congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, electrophysiology, heart failure and valvular heart disease.

  • Holter Monitor – A Holter monitor is a small, wearable device that records the heart’s rhythm, usually for 1 to 2 days. It’s used to spot irregular heartbeats, also called arrhythmias.
  • 2D Echo / ECG – This test gives images of the different parts of the heart with the help of sound vibrations.It assists in checking damages, blockages, and blood flow rate.
  • Treadmill Test TMT –  Mainly used to diagnose Coronary artery disease or determine prognosis after Myocardial infarction (heart attack) or coronary revascularization (angioplasty or bypass surgery).
